RESPECT FOR HUMAN RIGHTS
Respect for human rights is one of the most important values of DGS Printing Technologies.
We strive to operate in accordance with the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights in our relations with our employees, suppliers, all related parties and the society and to encourage them to be sensitive in this regard. This Policy is guided by international human rights principles, including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, including the International Bill of Rights, the International Labour Organization’s (ILO) 1998 Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, the United Nations Global Compact, and the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
DGS Printing Technologies supports the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), a strategic policy initiative for companies that pledge to align their operations and strategies with universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption.
We exercise due diligence to identify and prevent human rights risks to people in our business and our communities as part of our business risks. Where we identify adverse human rights impacts arising from our business activities, we undertake to provide or co-operate in remediation in a fair and reasonable manner. In the event that we are linked to or involved in these adverse impacts due to our relations with third parties, we endeavour to ensure that this situation is remedied.DGS Printing Technologies is committed to contacting government authorities where it recognises that human rights are at risk in the country in which it operates and seeks to work with specific independent local stakeholders to address rights violations.
The General Manager is primarily responsible for the implementation of the Human Rights Policy. DGS Printing Technologies Human Rights Policy is overseen by the Board of Directors.
ARBITRARY DISCRIMINATION
We strive to be a workplace free from discrimination, harassment and disrespect based on race, gender, national origin, ethnicity, religion, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender expression, political opinion or any other status protected by applicable law.
We do not tolerate disrespectful or inappropriate behaviour, unfair treatment or retaliation of any kind, regardless of personal characteristics, position or status. Harassment is unacceptable to us, whether in the workplace or outside the workplace, in a work-related situation.

We set our wage policy and benefits competitively according to the industry, the local labour market and in accordance with the terms of applicable collective bargaining agreements. We conduct our operations in compliance with applicable laws on wages and working hours. We provide our employees with opportunities to develop their talents and potential and to make progress.
ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY AND WATER RESOURCES
We recognise the potential human rights impacts of our use of land and water within our value chain and address this through specific practices. In line with our Environmental Policy, we respect the human need for water resources and safe drinking water and the protection of both ecosystems and communities through proper sanitation.
GUIDANCE AND REPORTING
We strive to create workplaces where open and honest communication between all employees is valued and respected.
DGS Printing Technologies is committed to complying with applicable labour and employment laws wherever we operate. We also ensure that employees are familiar with our Human Rights Policy through training and an annual certification process.
Any employee who believes that there is a conflict between the language of the policy and the laws, customs and practices of the place where he or she works, who has questions about this policy, or who wishes to confidentially report a potential violation of this policy should raise these questions and concerns with local management, Human Resources or the General Manager. Employees may also report suspected violations of this policy by sending an email to info@dgs.com.tr or by calling (+90 216 4422000), or they may share them in the wish and suggestion boxes located in camera-free areas within the company. No retaliation or adverse action will be taken against any employee who reports concerns under this policy. The company will investigate and respond to employee concerns and take appropriate corrective action in response to any violations.

PRINCIPLES REGARDING THE APPLICATION
DGS Baskı Teknolojileri A.Ş. reserves the right to change this policy at any time. Nothing in this policy replaces the employment contract between DGS Printing Technologies and its employees and participation in this programme does not guarantee that the employment relationship between DGS Printing Technologies and the employee will continue.
The Policy is an integral part of DGS Baskı Teknolojileri A.Ş.’s sustainability approach and is communicated to all employees. This Policy has been accepted and put into effect by the Ethics Committee. The Policy is reviewed by the Board of Directors at least every five years and the progress of the practices is monitored. In case of feedback from stakeholders, the Ethics Committee reviews the Policy without waiting for the above period. In case of significant product, service and activity changes, the review process is carried out without waiting for the above period. In all other policies, procedures, processes, practices, products and activities, issues that are considered to have the risk of contradicting the Policy or making the implementation of the Policy difficult are reviewed.
Transparently, the areas identified as risky regarding human rights, the measures taken and the improvement steps taken are shared with the public through annual reports. In the event that this human rights policy is not complied with and/or complaints are received on the subject, the person or persons concerned may face disciplinary action and/or criminal penalties such as termination of employment. These notifications must comply with the laws on the protection of personal information in the relevant country.
